Gooooood Morning Potty People!
While we are only one day away… we feel compelled to ask you…
Do you Remember?… the 21st night of September
Now that we got that out of the way… let’s moooooove onto our main story this week!
For this week’s Main Story, we go to a farm in Germany… where we meet the “MooLoo”
But before we explore that provoking product… we should explain - there are an estimated 1.4 billion cows on Earth and they emit a lot of harmful waste products.
They do this through burping, urination and defecating… making Cows a major driver of climate change.
In case you didn’t already know… Cows use the bathroom quite frequently, 8 gallons of urine (and about 65 pounds of waste) per day – which produced a lot of Methane gas.
So to try and combat this problem, the University of Auckland joined forces with scientists at a research laboratory in Germany for an experiment that would allow the cow’s urine to be collected, treated and neutralized — so it poses less of a risk.
Ladies and gentlemen… we give you… The “MooLoo”!
A specially built training latrine, with green walls and a green astroturf floor.
Throughout the training, calves were rewarded for correct behaviors with sweet food treats and punished for urinating outside of the latrine (which just meant a splash of water).
According to Researchers, 11 out of 16 calves were taught to use the MooLoo in just 15 training sessions — a result they said compares favorably to the amount of time it takes to toilet-train children ages 3 to 4.
While this offers a unique solution to a global issue… experts point out that it will take a lot of training and “MooLoos” to save the planet.
But we think this idea is pretty incredible… and of course, we figured we had to share it with you!
Who had “Potty-Trained Cows” on your 2021 Bingo Board…
Enough with the Bull-Sh*t (#cowpooppun) … lets get into this weeks Potty Picks!
This past week, the world lost a comedic genius in Norm Macdonald after a nine-year private battle with cancer.
Norm was an incredible Stand Up Comedian, but was mostly known for his work as a “Weekend Update” Anchor from 1986-1991 at Saturday Night Live.
While his humor was unique in many ways, we figured we would share with you one of our favorite clips from him, which is his infamous “Moth Joke” from his appearance on Conan!
He will truly be missed, and his legendary brand of comedy will endure!
This week, after watching the MTV Video Music Awards… Hearing some of the music and seeing some of the provocative performances… we felt like we needed a shower.
My goodness… we love the occasional butt-cheek but my goodness… it felt like a Sisqo Music Video!
This week, we felt it was our responsibility… nay, our duty (#bathroompunintended) to take it back to a time when music was absolutely golden… and squeaky clean!
I will go on the record and say, Motown Records produced the greatest songs of all time… and because of that we wanted to feature 5 absolute classics from Motown artists!
This week, we feature music from: The Jacksons, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, and The Temptations
While we did start this episode will some bull-shi*t…
We do want to keep with the format of the blog and give you our Bathroom Moment of the Week!
We will keep this one a little cleaner… in fact, that is exactly what this week’s clip is all about
Public Restrooms are not exactly the most cleanly of places… in fact, using a Public Restroom these days, in light of the pandemic, is like swapping PCR test swabs with a stranger.
In this week’s Bathroom Moment of the Week, we meet a clever germaphobe who uses her ingenuity and flexibility to use the Public Restroom unscathed!

Wow! What an episode of Potty Time with POTTYMINTS! It could be our most bathroom forward episode yet!
Either way, we are always so grateful to anyone who takes the time out of their day to read a Bathroom Blog… but fun fact: 75% of people use their phone while on the toilet!
So if you have any Bathroom Buddies that you want to share this blog with, we would really appreciate it!
As you know, we like to end our blogs with a quote that we can all use as a source of inspiration and motivation for the week ahead.
This week’s quote comes, once again from comedian Norm MacDonald:
We hope you all have a fantastic week, we hope you stay safe, try something new this week – and most importantly have fun!
See you next Monday for another new Blog!
