August… the “Last Call” of Summer

Yup, for any of you that came into this Summer with a checklist… it’s time to get moving! 

Whether it was getting in the best shape of your life, or watching that new show you’ve been meaning to see… or for some in the single persuasion, time for me to find my life partner!

Your success rate as a single person in August is 90% about hiding sweat…

But, if you are lucky enough to meet someone by the air conditioner… 

And you are lucky enough for them to show you… their air conditioner… ;)

… You may find our Main Story of the Week interesting… because a recent study out of the UK found that: 

1 in 8 people would rather have a partner that keeps the bathroom clean… over great sex!

Yes, you read that last sentence correctly - it appears that people in the UK prioritize bathroom cleanliness over just about anything 

1 in 5 relationships said they would rather have a clean bathroom than a good kisser

According to a study taken by The UK Bathroom Habits Survey, asked 500 couples across the UK questions on their personal hygiene and grooming standards, as well as household cleanliness, and traits they look for in a partner.

And the results are absolutely fascinating… 

2 out of 3 Couples said that an unkept bathroom is a deal-breaker in a relationship

As we have mentioned before on the blog… Anthony Bourdain once said: “I won’t eat in a restaurant with filthy bathrooms…If the restaurant can’t be bothered to replace the puck in the urinal or keep the toilets and floors clean, then just imagine what their refrigeration and work spaces look like.”

We honestly couldn't agree more… a gross bathroom tells you everything you need to know about someone 

If a picture is worth a thousand words… How many books of words is a smelly bathroom? 

The same study also showed that 34% of men clean up their nail cuttings, compared to 53% of women. 

However, as many as 66% of women don't tidy up after a shave, while 53% of men don't.

So bottom line… we all need some bathroom improvement 

But since bathrooms are kind of our thing… and we think we are saving relationships one flush at a time… 

We will give you the following advice… before you go out to the bar or to the date…

Like a never ending maze of all the items that belong, and yet also don’t belong… in your home… 

… and almost comically… with a mini-golf pencil to help mark off your list 

Well, for this week’s Video of the Week, we see a young couple shopping at Ikea… as her husband tries to keep the trip interesting with puns…

This week we were all blessed by the queen… her majesty… Beyonce who released her newest album RENAISSANCE over the weekend. 

We decided… to honor her and her legendary career we would dedicate this weeks POTTY Picks to her!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have found it

As you know, this section of the blog is the most difficult to write… it involves hours of research googling “toilet” to try and find a story that doesn't involve secret cameras, rodents or murderers… 

But we have found it! 

You see, a good Bathroom Moment of the Week really makes or breaks your week… but this week we assure you - we think we found a good one. 

This weeks Bathroom Moment of the Week is a Guinness World Record… for the longest time spent sitting on a toilet

We want you to take a moment and think about how long that record might be… 

24 hours in a day… So maybe 96 Hours? That seems reasonable… right? 

But no… not for World Record Holders… 

The record set was a whopping 165 Hours spent on the toilet… as you can see here:
