Goooooood Morning Potty People!Â
This week we wanted to take a short moment to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth the II, who passed away last week at the age of 96, after reigning for 70 years.Â
While there is much to be said about her legacy, her impact, her grace…Â
Since we are a Bathroom blog… we found a story about her majesty that we feel needs to be told.Â
You see… the royal family has rules in place that they go by as well including when it comes to their bathroom breaks.
For this week’s Main Story, we go to Buckingham Palace as we review the Royal families bathroom habits!Â
We here in America have often looked to the United Kingdom for a sense of class, sophistication and regality… especially when it comes to everyday mannersÂ
In America, when we try and be “fancy” - many of us will often fake a pretentious english accent to make us feel more… royal.
But we assure you… the Royal Families bathroom habits are truly giving new meaning to the term… “Royal Flush”Â
You see… when a royal needs to use the Bathroom, they do so in complete secrecy… meaning, not anyone or staff is in the vicinity of the restroomÂ
The monarch likes to make sure staffers aren’t within earshot when she relieves herself.
But even the Queen’s bathroom habits pale in comparison to her husband, King Charles III
You see… a report in the New York Post said that King Charles III "brings his own toilet seat and Kleenex Velvet toilet paper wherever he goes".
Yup, the King only uses his own toilet seat, and only the softest toilet paper for his behind… if there was 3-ply this would be it!Â
Even the Charmin Ultra-Soft Toilet Paper Bears think his habits are a little much…Â
But… this is in addition to his other… requests which include:Â
"His pajamas are pressed every morning, his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron, the bath plug has to be in a certain position, and the water temperature has to be just tepid," in a bathtub filled "only half full".
The king even "has his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning."
Talk about full service… Where do we sign up?Â
Enough with the Bathroom Breaks… let’s get into this week’s Potty Picks!Â
As you can tell by the mere fact we are a bathroom air freshener tablet… we at POTTYMINTS love innovation!Â
We have often thought that we have lived through the “if it aint broke, dont fix it” era… to the point where now… there are better solutions to common problems!Â
At the forefront of these types of innovations is Matt Benedetto a social media creator who is behind the incredibly popular youtube chanel: Unnecessary Inventions
As the tile suggests, using his skills as a product designer, Benedetto invents and then creates over-the-top products to solve problems you didn't know you had.Â
From a 100-foot phone charger, to an avocado on a stick, to a hands-free drone umbrella, they may not be available anywhere for purchase, but you're going to want them all.Â
So for this weeks Video of the Week, we present to you the magical and creative world of Matt Benedetto and his Unnecessary InventionsÂ
Well… as sad as it may be… as the weather begins to get colder… it appears we are entering Sweater Weather season
You know what we are talking about… time to brush the dust off those pandemic sweatpants…Â
So we figured we would give you a soundtrack to begin your winter hibernation, so enjoy our 5 songs of the Week!Â
There are Guinness World Records… and then there are Bathroom Guinness World Records
If you follow us on Instagram or Tik Tok you may have seen us post some of these World records with you…Â
And if you don't already follow us on these platforms… we would love it if you did!
This week as we have already shown you in this blog… some inventors have too much time on their hands… including this gentleman named Collin Furze.Â
You see… Collin Furze holds the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Toilet ever recorded.Â
So, for this week’s Bathroom Moment of the Week, let us introduce you to Collin Furze and his 50 mph mobile toilet!Â

Well, that wraps up another fantastic episode of Potty Time with POTTYMINTS (if we do say so ourselves)Â Â
As always we love sharing these strange bathroom related stories with you, and we hope you share these stories with your friends!Â
But, as always… we can't finish an episode of our blog without leaving you with a quote for the week aheadÂ
And given her recent passing, we wanted to share with you a quote from Queen Elizabeth the II:Â
Â
“While we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.”
Queen Elizabeth II
We hope you have a fantastic week ahead, and we will see you next time for another episode of Potty Time with POTTYMINTS!Â
